Celebrate
National Library Week @ Bemis
We encourage you to stop
in and discover all that Bemis has to offer during National Library Week,
April 12-18. This year’s theme is Worlds Connect @ Your Library. Did
you know that over 250 story time sessions are offered in the Children’s Room
each year? Lots of early literacy practice is gained as children leave the
library with armfuls of books each time. Story times also cultivate a strong
foundation for lifelong learning, a curiosity about the world and of course, a
love of reading.
In addition to story times,
Children’s Room activities include entertainers, movies, crafts, computer
classes and even the chance to read to animals through the Paws to Read
program. You also can check out books, magazines, music, audio books, DVDs,
puppets and more. We look forward to seeing you and helping you find whatever
you need. So “Get Connected” and celebrate libraries
with us this month.
