Why recycle your old electronics?

Reduce, reuse and recycle.Items that can no longer be used must be handled responsibly. The National Safety Council estimates that approximately 50 MILLION computers in the US become obsolete each year. Hazardous substances can get into ground water when these electronics are dumped UNLESS we RECYCLE. Most trash companies will not take these electronic items with your regular trash pickup service. GRX keeps these hazardous materials out of the landfills by responsible recycling under the BAN Stewardship Pledge, which establishes the highest standards for e-waste recyclers.

For more information, contact City of Littleton Code Specialist Rebecca Thompson at 303-795-3831, or GRX representative Matt McLaughlin at 720-377-7700.
