Welcome to the Carousel of Music ~ A family tradition since 1980!

The Carousel of Music kicks off the 84rd Western Welcome Week (WWW) Wednesday, August 8, 2012 starting at 5 p.m. A perennial favorite with families during WWW, this event features appearances from the Colorado Honor Band, the Denver Concert Band and the Littleton Chorale.

Water slide.KIDS — BRING A TOWEL and enjoy the inflatable water slide in Geneva Park. For the water-shy, there will be a dry inflatable slide, too. There will be canoe and paddle-boat rides on Geneva Lake for $1 per person. Pan for "gold," face painting and temporary tattoos for the kids; and hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, and ice cream sandwiches for 50¢ each.

5:00 PM — Picnic time!
Hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, ice cream sandwiches — all 50¢ each!

All evening —
Magicians; puppeteers; Littleton Fire Rescue's Wheel of Safety and Safety Fox.		 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM — Littleton Chorale, appearing at the Carousel of Music for the 33nd consecutive year!

4:30-7:30 PM
• Family canoe and paddle-boat rides on Geneva Lake for $1 per person. Get in line early to be sure you get a ride! The boat line closes at 7:30 PM. All boats must be OFF THE LAKE by 8 PM.
• KIDS — BRING A TOWEL and enjoy the inflatable water slide!

6 PM — Enjoy the youthful summer sounds of the Colorado Honor Band

7 PM— Tap and snap along to the patriotic rhythms of the Denver Concert Band
Just for kids!
  • Face painting and temporary tattoo stations;
  • Littleton Fire Rescue "Wheel of Safety;"
  • Pan for "gold;"
  • Kids' craft table;
  • Inflatable water slide and bounce houses ages 3-12 (bring your own towel);
  • Roving magicians, puppeteers
