Plan Submittal Process

When submitting plans please use the following guideline:

1. Submit Plan Review Application.
   • Must be complete with contractor name, phone number and e-mail.
   • Architects submitting with no contractor listed are responsible for all fees at the time of submittal.
    
2. Submit a scope of work summary.
    
3. Submit TWO sets of building construction / tenant finish plans (greater than 5,000 sq’) as noted below:
   
   ONE set of plans submitted MUST be on CD ROM in PDF or DWF format.
   
   ONE set of wet stamped printed plans. The MAXIMUM size plans that Littleton Fire will accept is:
   • 18 inches X 24 inches (commonly referred to as ½ size)
   • The scale on the plans will need to be accurate for the size;
    
4. Submit any specific details or specification sheets on sprinkler or fire alarm devices.

Our REVIEW processing time is approximately TWO WEEKS (10 business work days).

Electronic Plan Submittal

Littleton Fire Rescue prefers submittal via email for the following types of plans:

• Tenant finish less than 5,000 sq ft.
• Sprinkler system less than 5,000 sq ft
• Fire sprinkler underground
• Fire alarm system less than 5,000 sq ft.
• Commercial kitchen hood systems

1. Submit Plan Review Application.
   • Must be complete with contractor name, phone number and e-mail.
   • Architects submitting with no contractor listed are responsible for all fees.
    
   The SAME submittal guidelines noted on the left shall be followed except that stamped hard copy plans do NOT need to be submitted for the above.
     
2. Submit plans in PDF or DWF format.
