Littleton's Virtual Walking Tour is based on the Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Littleton, a guide published by the Littleton Historical Museum. The goal of the virtual tour is to bring Littleton those who cannot visit physically. The Virtual Walking Tour includes 20 buildings that have been designated locally or nationally as landmarks. These buildings represent both the diverse building types of Littleton as well as the rich development heritage of our community.

A lesson plan for teachers of grades 4 through 6 has been developed to educate students on the history of the Littleton community and its architecture.

Littleton's Virtual Walking Tour is made possible by a grant for "Colorado's Main Streets" from the Colorado Digitization Program, with support from the Colorado State Historic Fund and the Colorado State Library.
