The Economic Development Department has sophisticated research capabilities, with access to business and industry data from several major research and database firms worldwide. Services such as Lexis/Nexis, Dialog, Dun & Bradstreet, and Hoover’s allow us to search more than 100,000 publications online, create business-to-business or business-to-consumer marketing lists, track industry trends, and analyze competitors. If your business has a local market we can use computer mapping and geographic analysis to determine demographics, consumer expenditures, lifestyle data, and competitor locations. We can research most of your business questions within a few hours. The department will also provide business consulting in the areas of developing a business plan, marketing strategy, sales, customer service, and employee relations. These services are available to businesses within the city limits of Littleton.
