The Code Compliance Division of the Community Development Department is responsible for investigating complaints regarding compliance with city codes; seeking and negotiating resolution of code violations; administering the Summer Clean-up and Recycling Program; systematically inspecting multiple-family rental housing for compliance with city codes; and educating owners and managers to the purposes of the housing inspections and the services and conditions that must be provided by the owner.
