A perennial favorite with families during Western Welcome Week, this event features wildly popular performances from the Colorado Honor Band and the Denver Concert Band.
KIDS — BRING A TOWEL and enjoy the inflatable water slide in Geneva Park. For the water-shy, there is a dry inflatable slide, too. There are canoe and paddle-boat rides on Geneva Lake for $1 per person. Pan for "gold," face-painting and temporary tattoos for the kids; and hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, and ice cream sandwiches for 50¢ each.
