Museum Research Center

Using the SIRSI Web Catalog to search for books in the Museum's Research Center:

The research center in the main museum building has a wonderful collection of over 3,000 historical photographs for use by the public. There are over 2,000 books and manuscripts and over 6,000 historical photographs for use by the public. The center also has microfilm of past issues of the Littleton Independent and other local newspapers, some going back 100 years.

The research center is open by appointment only. Books and other materials available in the center are only for research purposes; materials cannot be checked out at any time. Call the museum at 303-795-3950 to make an appointment.

Visitors can search for books in the research center using Bemis Library's online Web Catalog. To limit the search to museum items only, click on "advanced search" from the initial search screen, then select from the drop down menu under "type"--Littleton Museum Collection.  Then type in a subject, title, etc. and it will only search the museum collection.
