City of Littleton to publish 2007 edition of award-winning “Youth Resources Directory”

The City of Littleton will soon publish the 2007 “Youth Resources Directory.” This free directory of resources for children and youth in the greater Littleton area includes listings for child care, education, health care, recreation and cultural programs.

The “Youth Resources Directory” was recognized in 2005 with an Award of Excellence by the National Association of Government Communicators Blue Pencil awards program, which recognizes excellence in communications. The colorful directory, originally published in 1999 and revised in 2004, contains listings of programs designed to enrich the lives of Littleton’s children.

Programs/organizations can apply for a free listing in the directory by emailing Chris Harguth or downloading an application . The deadline to apply is December 29 at 5 p.m.

Copies of the directory will be available in early 2007 at South Suburban Parks and Recreation Facilities, Bemis Public Library, the Littleton Historical Museum and at the Littleton Center.
