Women Arrested in Buck Center Thefts

Littleton Police have arrested two women for a series of crimes involving breaking into lockers of patrons at the Douglas H. Buck Recreation Center, 2004 W. Powers Avenue. It is alleged that beginning on January 27, 2011 and over a period of four different days, Lisa Renee GREENE, DOB 06-05-1988 and Starrla Danielle MORGAN, DOB 04-02-1987, entered the women’s locker room at the Buck Center, and unlawfully entered six different victim’s lockers and stole car keys from them. They then used the keys to locate and illegally enter the victim’s vehicles in the parking lot, stealing purses from them. From there, they used credit cards and checks and made a number of illegal financial transactions at various stores in the metro area. The property loss thus far is estimated at $1500, but a final total has not been completed.

The women, who were observed on Buck Center video, were also identified in video obtained from Wal-Mart and Burger King making illegal transactions with the stolen credits cards. The women are being charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, Identify Theft, Forgery, 1st Degree Criminal Trespass, Theft and Conspiracy, all felonies. MORGAN was jailed and held on a $6000 bond. GREENE was released on her own recognizance pending formal filing of charges.
