Public Invited to Give Input on City Manager Recruitment
The Littleton City Council invites citizens interested in providing input on the selection of a new city manager to attend an open house on Friday, June 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the community room of the Littleton Center, 2255 West Berry Avenue.
Representatives of the recruiting firm, The Mercer Group, will be in attendance. City council members will be available for informal discussion on the qualities, experience and skill set required of a new city manager. Citizens can also write their ideas down on a questionnaire to give to the recruiters.
City Manager Jim Woods announced his retirement effective September 30, 2011. The city council hopes to have a new city manager selected by early September. For further information, contact Human Resources Director Erich Won Savage at 303-795-3857.
