Littleton Police Apprehend 24 Hour Fitness Locker Thief

On October 24, 2011, at 4:47 p.m., Littleton Police Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male in the locker room at 24 Hour Fitness, 2650 W. Belleview Ave. Over the past few weeks, 24 Hour Fitness members reported two incidents where an unknown subject broke into lockers and removed personal property without permission. Littleton Police and 24 Hour Fitness employees identified a possible suspect who returned to the gym on this date.

Littleton Police Officers contacted Joseph Scot NERUD, DOB/08-15-1982, in the men’s locker room, took him into custody and found stolen property on his person. NERUD was transported to Arapahoe County Jail and booked on charges of Third Degree Burglary and Theft.
