Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem Elected
Following a swearing-in ceremony conducted by Presiding Judge James Anderson November 15, District IV Council Member Debbie Brinkman was elected by her fellow council members to serve as mayor for the next two years. At Large Council Member Bruce Stahlman was elected to the position of mayor pro tem, also for a two-year term.
Brinkman was first elected to the Littleton City Council in 2007. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. A graduate of Denver Lutheran High School, she went on to receive her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Northern Colorado. Brinkman worked for 24 years in advertising and marketing before starting her own business.
Stahlman was selected by council to fill a vacancy created by the January 31, 2007 resignation of District II representative Pat Cronenberger. He was re-elected to council as an at large member in 2009. Stahlman earned a master’s degree in business from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College. He is a registered CPA, working more than 25 years in corporate finance. He has been the CFO of ARC Thrift Stores since September 2006. |
