Littleton Wins Three Awards for Video Programs

The City of Littleton is the recipient of three Government Programming Awards from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) that were presented at the 26th annual conference in San Francisco September 23.  The awards honor excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies.  There were more than 740 entries submitted from across the country and Canada.  The Littleton winners are:

First place – Documentary Event Coverage
Pivotal Points:  A Maps Exhibit at the Littleton Museum,
a 15-minute program that features maps and reports from the Littleton Museum collection that shape the way we view this continent and nation.  The exhibit remains open through November 6.  The video was written, produced and narrated by Kimberly Field with videography and editing by Doug Reed.

Third place – Promotion of a City/County
Live…Work…Play…in Downtown Littleton!,
a five-minute program that showcases the vibrant housing, shopping, dining, and celebrations that are located in the heart of the city.  It was written, produced and narrated by Kelli Narde; with videography and editing by Doug Reed.

Honorable Mention – Arts and Entertainment
Public Art in Littleton,
a 15-minute program that highlights the Fine Arts Committee’s collection of outdoor art and sculpture in the city.  The video was written and produced by Cathy Weaver; with videography and editing by Doug Reed, and narrated by Michael Schaefer.
