Reception Scheduled for Retiring City Manager
 A reception to recognize the 27-year career of Littleton City Manager Jim Woods has been scheduled for Friday, September 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Littleton Center, 2255 West Berry Avenue. A tribute to Woods will take place at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Woods announced his retirement March 2 effective September 30, 2011.
In lieu of gifts, Woods requests guests consider making a contribution to one of three organizations that provide services in the northeast neighborhoods: North Littleton Promise, Doctors Care, or The Village Preschool. Donations may be tax-deductible. Donations can be sent to the city in care of Marlene Brown or brought to the reception. They will be forwarded following the reception.
