Popular deKoevend Park offers an appealing mix of bluegrass, natural areas and playgrounds. Big Dry Creek and the High Line Canal wind through and around the park. Water crossings and trails connect ball fields, tennis courts, playground and picnic areas. The Goodson Recreation Center and the South Suburban Ice Arena are adjacent to these picnic areas. Vehicular access to these areas is limited to picnic support services and requires a special permit.
