DEKOEVEND PARK
Back to park list Popular deKoevend Park offers an appealing mix of bluegrass, natural areas and playgrounds. Big Dry Creek and the High Line Canal wind through and around the park. Water crossings and trails connect ball fields, tennis courts, playground and picnic areas. The Goodson Recreation Center and the South Suburban Ice Arena are adjacent to these picnic areas. Vehicular access to these areas is limited to picnic support services and requires a special permit. Reservable areas: Shelter A—group capacity 200, seating capacity 60-80 Shelter B—group capacity 600, seating capacity 100-120 Shelter C—group capacity 600, seating capacity 100-120 Playground designated area—group capacity 100, seating capacity 30-50 Shelter amenities: Restrooms, electricity, access to fresh water, ample parking, barbeque grills in all shelters.
