Leaf and Tire Recycling Program

Raking leaves.The Cities of Littleton and Englewood are continuing their annual leaf-recycling program. In the previous 18 years of the program, 16,460 cubic-yards of leaves and 2,496 tires were recycled.

Location:  Mountain States Wood Recyclers
2300 West Radcliffe Avenue, Sheridan

Recycle old tires.Volunteers working at the site will accept leaves and tires only. No grass clippings, tree branches or other refuse will be accepted.

Tires will also be collected for recycling at a cost of $2 per tire, and $5 per tire if mounted on a rim. No oversized tractor or truck tires, please.

This collection site is open for residential recycling only; no materials will be accepted from lawn service companies or other commercial ventures. For more information call 303-795-3766.

Click to enlarge map.Directions from the south: Take South Santa Fe Drive (US Highway 85) north to Union Avenue (first traffic signalnorth of Belleview). Go west and take an immediate right turn onto the Santa Fe frontage road and head north. Turn right at the T-intersection and stay on the frontage road. After 0.2 miles turn left (west on Radcliffe Avenue). Radcliffe Avenue ends after 0.4 miles at Mountain States Wood Recyclers. Call 303-808-9678 if can’t find the site.

Directions from the north: Take South Santa Fe Drive (US Highway 85) south to West Oxford Avenue (first traffic signal south of Hampden Avenue). Go west and turn left at the first light onto the Santa Fe frontage road and head south. After 0.4 miles turn right (west on Radcliffe Avenue). Radcliffe Avenue ends after 0.4 miles at Mountain States Wood Recyclers.
