Sewer and Storm Drainage Information

The City of Littleton Public Services Department, Engineering and Utilities Division is responsible for management of storm water to minimize flooding, and controlling and limiting pollutants that might enter the drainage system. All drainage improvements within the city are designed or reviewed by engineers in the division.

Maintenance of the storm drainage system is performed by certified wastewater operators. Crews perform a variety of tasks including cleaning of pipes, inlets, manholes, ditches and channels. Maintenance of major drainage channels and natural streams is performed with assistance by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District.
