Road construction on Bowles at Lowell

The Platte Canyon Water & Sanitation District is planning a major sewer repair project on Bowles Avenue, between Middlefield Road and Lowell Boulevard. They will be excavating a 24-inch sewer main, removing a 70-foot section of it and replacing it. The project is scheduled to begin Thursday, October 6. The contractor plans to work around the clock, regardless of weather conditions to expedite the completion of the work by Sunday, October 9.

Westbound Bowles Avenue will be reduced to one lane at Middlefield Road. The entrance to the Columbine Valley Shopping Center (former Albertsons location) will remain open at all times. Eastbound Bowles Avenue traffic will not be affected.
