World Wide Knit in Public Day is an international event that encourages experienced and novice knitters/fiber-lovers alike to come out and knit together in public places. In 2017, there were 1,125 Knit-In-Public events, in 54 different countries!
Bring your knitting (crochet, sewing, quilting, spinning, felting, embroidery, etc.) and meet new fiber friends at the Littleton Museum. Afterwards, visit the historic farms (see the sheep) and the exhibits inside the museum. Admission is free.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside to the FOLM Lecture Hall.
What to Bring:
- Bring your own supplies – we’ll have limited supplies on hand, too
- Camp chair or blanket – limited chairs available
- Hat, sunscreen
- Water bottles
Please note: Pets, food, and drink are not permitted inside museum grounds. Water bottles are fine!
