Trekking Back Through Littleton's Archaeological Past

Presented by Todd McMahon

Step back to Littleton's ancient and historical archaeological past - a very rich past. Perhaps only a few realize that many peoples once called what today is known as Littleton  -"home." Using archaeological evidence, we can trace the history of Littleton and the surrounding area form the earliest Native American hunters to the early pioneer settlers. Todd McMahon from the Office of the State Archaeologist at History Colorado will provide an interpretive presentation comparing our current lifestyles with those that lived before. The presentation will also include the ability to examine ancient artifacts, how to "Think like an Archaeologist," and a question and answer session.

Seating is limited, free tickets are available Tuesday, April 16 at the Littleton Museum; limited to two per person

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
