Virtual Art Workshop with BMoCA

  • Date: 08/27/2020 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Join Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) Educator Melinda Laz for a video demonstration and interactive online art workshop discussing BMoCA's Spring 2020 exhibition Night Reels: The Work of Stacey Steers.

Artist Stacey Steers is known internationally for her process-driven, labor-intensive animated films composed of thousands of handmade works on paper. The exhibition featured several of her films, sculptures, installations and collages.

For this program, a video and art project will be presented online that you can watch and create in the comfort of your own home.

A live video chat via Zoom will follow on August 27 at 2 p.m., during which questions can be asked and answered, additional demonstration can occur, and participants can chat or share their work with the instructor and fellow participants!

Registration is required. Registrants will be provided with necessary art supplies to create their project. Please click here or call the library at (303) 795-3961 to register.
