Knit in Public Day
- Date: 06/11/2022
- Location: Littleton Museum
6028 S. Gallup Street
Littleton, Colorado 80120
On the second Saturday in June, knitting enthusiasts can get together and enjoy each other's company, as it is World Wide Knit in Public Day (WWKIP Day). The first knit in public event was organized in 2005 by Danielle Landes. World Wide Knit in Public Day was created to bring knitters and entire knitting groups together and make knitting more of a community activity.
Join us at the Littleton Museum on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 9 am – 12 noon. We’ll be set up on the lawn on the farms. We’ll have up to 50 metal folding chairs available for use, but if you find your camp chair more comfortable, feel free to bring it with you!
In the event of inclement weather, we’ll move inside to the Museum’s Lecture Hall.
RSVP is not necessary – drop in for as long (or as little) as you like. We’re excited to see what you’re working on!
- Your project!
- A chair if you can (limited chairs available)
- We're outdoors, so hat/sunscreen/bug spray
Food & other drinks not allowed.
