Littleton City Council Special Meeting Scheduled
The Littleton City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, March 20 at 8 a.m. in front of the Littleton Center, 2255 West Berry Avenue. This brief, special meeting is called to consider two items of crucial business. It will be held outside to protect the council and staff, and while the public is welcome to attend, no public comment will be accepted. There will be two items on the agenda:
- To ratify the city manager’s Emergency Declaration within seven days of its issuance as required by the city code.
- To add the option of holding electronic/telephonic public meetings and the ability to limit the duration of public comment to council’s Legislative Rules
All city buildings remain closed to the public (Littleton Center, Municipal Court, Bemis Library, Littleton Museum, Belleview Service Center), and all other meetings of city council and boards and commissions are postponed until at least April 3 when the COVID-19 situation will be reassessed.
The meeting can be viewed live on the City of Littleton Facebook page or watch the replay on Channel 8 or YouTube.
