Post Date:01/29/2021

Littleton Police Officer badgeThe Littleton Police Department is investigating a Robbery/Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft that occurred at about 12:15 p.m. on January 28, 2021 at the Atlantis Car Wash, 5474 South Federal Circle, Littleton, Colorado.

The victim, a 63-year-old woman, said she drove into the automatic wash bay and placed her vehicle in park, which automatically unlocked all of the car’s doors. As soon as the wash cycle started and the windshield was obscured, the suspect quickly walked up to the driver’s door and opened it.

The male suspect grabbed the victim’s arm and yelled for her to get out of the car. She resisted and attempted to fight off the suspect. Ultimately the suspect grabbed the victim by the neck, bit her, then forcibly pulled her from the vehicle and threw her to the ground. The suspect then fled in the victim’s car.

The victim did suffer minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, with short, dark hair and grey facial hair. He was wearing eyeglasses, a ball cap, a green jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a backpack. The stolen vehicle is a 2011 grey Toyota Sienna with a “Practice Aloha” sticker in the rear window and has a South Dakota license plate 1X7015.
