The Littleton Report Online (LRO) is published and emailed to subscribers about once a week, providing information regarding city programs and services and those of its agency partners.
Eight Citizens Submit Applications to Fill Council Vacancy
The Littleton City Clerk received applications from eight citizens expressing interest in filling the At Large vacancy on the Littleton City Council created by the resignation of Karina Elrod who relocated to Europe with her family. The deadline to submit a resume and letter of interest was May 17 at 5 p.m. The candidates are:
- Jason Henderson
- Mark Rudnicki
- Christopher Bischoff
- Joe Greiner
- Carolyn Wolvin
- Pete McClintock
- Gretchen Rydin
- Iftin Abshir
Interviews will be held Wednesday, May 19, and Thursday, May 20 beginning at 6:30 p.m. and will be conducted in person with Council Member Fey participating via Zoom.
Council is expected to consider the appointment at its June 1 meeting in compliance with the city charter which states it must be made within 30 days of the effective date of the vacancy. The person appointed will fill the remainder of the term which expires in November 2021.
