Littleton Town Hall Meeting

On September 20 Littleton city council and staff hosted a city-wide town hall meeting focused on infrastructure and capital projects at the Falls Event Center.

Overall, the meeting reached about 750 citizens, and 270 people actively engaged in conversation about Littleton’s future. The meeting gave the public the opportunity to ask staff questions in person, as well as online, by phone, or through social media.

Many more questions were submitted than staff could answer during the time constraints of the live meeting. Answers to those questions, as well as a link to the video, can be found at littletontownhall.org.

The Littleton Town Hall Meeting was put together after city council identified a priority to change how it gets feedback from the public. Rather than doing separate district meetings, it was decided that the city would have one big meeting using technology to make it easy for the public to participate. City helped organize and moderate the discussions. In addition to asking questions, community members also participated in polls, offered feedback, and heard from their neighbors.
