Reester Named Littleton Public Works Director

Keith Reester, Acting Public Works DirectorLittleton City Manager Mark Relph has announced the appointment of Keith A. Reester Jr. as Littleton Public Works Director.  Reester has served as the city’s Acting Public Works Director since June.

“Keith is one of the most knowledgeable and respected public works professionals in Colorado,” Relph said.  “He is a hands-on leader who hit the ground running since coming to Littleton.  Infrastructure maintenance and planning for the future will keep Keith and his staff very busy,” Relph added.

Reester served as Public Works Director for the City of Loveland for 12 years.  His experience includes:  transportation, capital projects, streets, solid waste, storm water, airport, fleet, and more.  He earned a master’s of public administration from Pennsylvania State University, and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Alfred University.

Reester has won numerous awards including recognition by the American Public Works Association for 2012 Colorado Project of the Year.  He authored the book, Define. Measure. Create – Inspiring a Leadership Journey.

“We’ve got a great opportunity to continue to make Littleton a place people want to raise their families and do business,” Reester said.

Reester was selected following a nationwide search conducted by Bob Murray and Associates.
