Public Open House to Discuss Santa Fe and Mineral Improvements
Opportunity to learn more from the experts and provide feedback
The City of Littleton will be hosting a public open house to discuss the Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue Intersection study on Thursday, September 13 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Carson Nature Center at South Platte Park, 3000 W. Carson Drive in Littleton.
The purpose of the event is to educate the public about the study and solicit feedback. Topics include existing intersection conditions, alternative intersection designs, future conditions, and project timeline.
If unable to attend the event, the public can provide input by taking a survey on Open Littleton.
About the Project
The City of Littleton understands that traffic congestion at the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue is negatively impacting the city. The Public Works Department is conducting a study of the intersection to develop designs that can be implemented in the short term to address traffic as soon as possible while maintaining flexibility for future expansion. This study will also serve as a precursor to the Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study to be conducted starting next year for the overall Santa Fe Drive corridor.
