Police Investigate Road Rage Incident
On August 4, 2019 at 6:02 P.M. the Littleton Police Department received a call of a disturbance in the intersection of South Santa Fe Dr. and West Belleview Ave. Investigation revealed that road rage disturbance occurred between a gray pickup and a newer model BMW sports utility vehicle. As the gray pickup truck left the scene numerous shots where fired from the fleeing pickup towards the SUV. There were no injuries due to this incident, however, at this time the investigation has revealed that at least three cars were damaged by the gunfire. There were no reported injuries from that incident, however, Adams County deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle and arrested two suspects. They were jailed at the Adams County Jail and mug shots should be available from that facility. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
