Due to the pandemic, the Littleton Center structure is closed to the public. The Building Division is continuing modified operations. While permits are continuing to be issued and inspections are continuing to be performed, delays may be experienced. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Submission of permit applications and associated documents through electronic means is STRONGLY encouraged, as is grouping of inspections as much as possible to reduce the number of visits by and interactions with inspectors.

With Littleton's Building Permit System, the homeowner and contractor may apply for simple permits (see permit type examples), track the progress of their construction projects online, locate the results of inspections, check plan review status, and view the anticipated date when a permit will be issued.
Licensed contractors may also log in and view their previous permits using the password found on their Littleton contractor's license.

Have the following information ready before starting the permit application process on the Building Permit System:
- Contractor name and PIN; OR
- Public User Account;
- Credit card; OR
- Checking account number and bank routing number;
- Job site address, including county (Arapahoe, Jefferson or Douglas);
- Email address;
- Printer for permits and receipts. A copy of the permit MUST be posted at the job site.
