The Littleton Museum and the Friends of the Library and Museum are delighted to be able to welcome you and your families back to the museum front lawn for the 2021 Summer Concert Series. We have eagerly been awaiting live music in person and thank you for your patience while we navigated the health and safety recommendations of state and local health departments.
The concert series this year will be free with open seating on a first come, first serve basis, but we do ask that families gather with caution and we encourage wearing a mask and social distancing, especially for those who are not vaccinated. We will not be offering any food or beverage service via food trucks this year. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks, provided they dispose of remaining items and trash properly.

July 14, 2021, 6:30pm to 8pm - Two Faces West
Two Faces West was founded in the small mountain town of Gunnison, Colorado and relocated to the mile high city of Denver in the fall of 2015, where they have burst into the music scene as one of its premier live acts! In just a few short years of living in the city, the Faces have made quite a name for themselves everywhere from small mountain town bars to shows at iconic Denver venues. The TFW sound is described as a fiery blend of rock and blues, which focuses on the roots of blues, while expressing its core in pure rock’n’roll, and topping it off with a touch of funk to create a versatile and distinctive Colorado sound: Crankin’ Electric Rock & Blues!
July 21, 2021, 6:30pm to 8pm - Delta Sonics

Al Chesis supplies vocals and foot-stomping showmanship but it's his harmonica playing that grabs you. He has been a Hohner endorser since 1992. Bob Pellegrino supplies the dazzling, slide guitar. Bob was the Colorado Blues Society’s best slide guitar player in three years in a row. Rising bass star Alissa Chesis and Stefan Flores on drums ‘drive the bus’ and are a grooving rhythm section .
July 28, 2021, 6:30pm to 8pm - David Lawrence and the Spoonful
Full-time Professional Musician, David Lawrence, has called Colorado home for over a decade. Whether performing solo or with his full band ‘The Spoonful’, David brings a unique blend of finger-picking Delta blues, roots-americana, soulful vocals, and his own style of Gypsy-infused jazz guitar. In recent years, David has focused more on his original sound, currently recording his second solo album featuring some of Colorado’s best musicians and set to release in summer 2021. A poet at heart, David’s original sound combines evocative imagery and storytelling with infectious melodies and rich, layered guitar playing. True to his musical roots, David’s music is raw, gritty, soulful and full of heart.

Over the years, Juice O'The Barley has established itself as one of the most sought after purveyors of Irish pub music in Colorado. Taking its name from a well-known — and much consumed — Irish beverage, THE JUICE performs contemporary versions of pub classics, as well as music from the current Irish folk and pop scene. They can be found playing at local pubs and at major Irish and Celtic festivals throughout Colorado. The Juice is not your mother's typical Irish folk group. They play their music in a style that can only be described as "Irish music with an attitude.
August 11, 2021, 6:30pm to 8pm - Dakota Blonde
“Soulful, delicate, powerful, insightful… all that and more,” are the words Michael Johnson (International recording artist/song-writer) uses to describe Dakota Blonde. “Highly addictive & absolutely contagious” is how their loyal & captivated audiences describe them! Any way you put it, Dakota Blonde, made up of Mary Huckins, Don Pinnella & Tony Raddell have certainly played and sung their way into countless hearts & souls around the globe! They met through their careers in Music Therapy, working with children and adolescents who are emotionally troubled. Therapy… yes… they have a special knack for including audiences in their music and finding the heart strings that music plays in all of us. This special capacity for empathy could explain the titanium bond the band quickly forms with their audiences. “Wonderful souls on and off the stage!” Performing originals and covers with their unique blend of heart, humor, authenticity and spirit, Dakota Blonde has had overwhelming success with all of their CD releases! … and they just keep ‘em coming! The group has received top honors for their song-writing, CD projects and performances across the country, and even internationally. You certainly won’t want to miss the opportunity to become a Blonde-Head!
August 18, 2021, 6:30pm to 8pm - Buckstein
Colorado's homegrown country music singer, Buckstein’s goal is to bring soul to everything he does. “What people seem to respond most to in my live performances is my passion, so I worked hard to bring that passion to the record. My sound gets compared a lot to the great bass-baritones of my time: Trace Adkins, Toby Keith, Josh Turner, and Chris Young. But I personally hate comparisons. I don’t think Josh Turner wants to hear he sounds like Don Williams,” he laughs. “I just wanna sound like me. If my sound were a drink, I'd like to think it would come in a bottle with a cork instead of a twist cap. And I'd like to say it's got a crisp bite with a smooth finish.”
