The Research Center at the Littleton Museum has a wonderful collection of over 2,000 books and manuscripts and over 3,000 historical photographs for use by the public. The Center also has microfilm of past issues of the Littleton Independent and other local newspapers, some going back 100 years.

The Research Center is open by appointment only. Books and other materials available in the center are for research purposes; materials cannot be checked out at any time. Call the Museum at 303-795-3954 to make an appointment.

 

To view the Littleton Independent online, visit www.coloradohistoricnewspapers.org. The site is searchable by keyword, and includes issues of the Littleton Independent from 1888 to 1923.
