Bicycles bound for auctionThe Littleton Police Department disposes of unclaimed found property and evidence using the, Inc., a law enforcement Internet auction service.

Designated items are transferred to the PropertyRoom and are then listed for sale on their web site. Potential buyers place on-line bids, and the winners deal directly with the PropertyRoom. Purchased items are shipped to the buyers and the proceeds are returned to the City of Littleton.

When property is transferred to PropertyRoom, a legal notice listing the items will be posted at the Littleton Center, the Littleton Municipal Courthouse, Bemis Public Library, and on the city's Legal Notices web page. If there are no notices posted, then there are no pending auctions.

Anyone having a claim of ownership to the items, or questions about property or evidence should call the police department at 303-795-3881. For more information about the police auction, visit the PropertyRoom website.
