Free wood mulch available to Littleton residents

The city offers free wood mulch to residents. This mulch is produced by tree-trimming operations and usually set out on Friday afternoon. Most of our pruning takes place in January through April. After that, the frequency and quantity of mulch that is available varies considerably.

The mulch pile is located on the northwest corner of South Prescott Street and West Prentice Avenue outside the white PVC fence at that location. The site is open to the public during daylight hours. Residents are responsible for loading their own mulch, so bring bags or trash cans and a shovel or pitchfork. For information, call 303-795-3766.
