Non-Profit Discretionary Funds Process

Dollar in hand imageEach year the Littleton City Council considers requests for discretionary funding from non-profits that serve Littleton residents and awards the funds to the non-profits during the budget process. Requests may include operational, one-time special purpose funds, or event sponsorships (both in-kind or cash).

This is a competitive process as council always receives more requests than it has funds available. Last year, council reviewed requests from 26 organizations and provided a total of $85,000 in donations. Requests funded ranged from a few hundred dollars to over $20,000.
