Applications for the Nonprofit Discretionary Grants for the 2019 calendar year closed on June 30, 2018. Applications for the 2020 calendar year will open next Spring.

Dollar in hand imageEach year the Littleton City Council considers requests for discretionary grants from nonprofit organizations that serve Littleton residents and awards the grants to the organizations during the budget process. Requests may include operational, one-time special purpose grants, or event sponsorships (in-kind or cash).

This is a competitive process as council always receives more requests than it has funds available. Requests funded range from a few hundred dollars to over $20,000.

Application Guidelines

The application deadline is Saturday, June 30 at 5 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions upon city council’s adoption of next year's budget in December. All requests for cash and/or in-kind support MUST be completed online. Council cannot consider any requests without a completed application. Late applications will not be accepted.

Examples of cash or in-kind requests include:

  • Police, fire, and/or streets crew services at your event;
  • A city council table at your fundraiser;
  • Support for one of your programs, etc.
